Doubles League 2022

Show your skills playing golf as a couple with this fun championship divided into 5 independent competitions that will be held during the month of August at the Bonalba Golf Club in which all players with a valid license and handicap can participate.

Couples Composition

Each competition is independent from one another, with classification and Prizes for each Day. For the General Classification of the League, the players will score individually based on the position obtained each day, being able to change partners in each competition.

Every category will need, at least, 10 couples in order to be able to take the start.

The game handicap of each player will depend on the game mode of each day.

Categories

Each day 2 indistinct categories will be established in the categories, determined by the number of registered, 50% in each category.

1st CATEGORY: 50% of the players by sum of game handicap.

2nd CATEGORY: 50% of the players by sum of game handicap.

COMPETITIONS SCHEDULE

July 31st

1st Greensome Chapman Game Mode Tournament:

Each player of the pair executes the tee shot, the second shot will be executed with the partner’s ball, continuing the game with one of the two balls, freely chosen by the pair, alternating from that moment the shots until the end of each hole. The companion of hcp. lowest receives 60% and the Hcp. highest a 40%. They are added and the total is rounded.

2nd Tournament Four Balls game mode best ball:

Each player who forms a pair plays with his own ball, scoring the best result of the two players on each hole.

Each player receives 85% of their game handicap.

3rd Canada Cup Game Mode Tournament:

Canada Cup modality.

Each player who forms a pair plays with their ball, the result of the pair in each hole being the sum of the results of each of the players that form it. Stableford. The pair will play with the same game handicap as in stroke play BONUS SCORE 20%

4th Texas Scramble Game Mode Tournament:

All Players go out at each hole with their own ball. For the next stroke, the most convenient ball is chosen from those that have been played. From that point, all the Players play again and so on until the hole is finished. The number of strokes, for each hole, will be that of the first ball that enters the hole. Hcp 2 players 30%. Game Turn:
– Exit Tee: At the choice of the players
– Street/Fairway & Green: Previous marking of the original ball, at the choice of the players
– Rough: The owner of the chosen ball will play first. The 2nd Player will drop at the spot of the original ball.
– Water Obstacles / Hazards: The owner of the chosen ball will play first. The 2nd Player will drop at the spot of the original ball.
– Bunker: The owner of the chosen ball will play first. The 2nd Player will place on the spot of the original ball.
The member of the couple with hcp. of higher game will not be able to play with a hcp. of a game superior to that of his partner.

Each player who forms a pair plays with his own ball, scoring the best result of the two players on each hole.

Each player receives a rounded 85% of their playing handicap. BONUS SCORE 20%

AWARDS

On each day, the 1st and 2nd ranked couple in each Category will receive a Prize. For the Final Classification, the three best scores of the 5 possible will be computed, and the first 2 individual classifieds of the accumulated classification will receive a prize.
Likewise, special non-cumulative prizes are established for the Best Senior and the Best Lady of the Accumulated Classification.

REGULATION

PUNCTUATION SYSTEM:
A score will be assigned by classification in each Test, for each member of the couple, following the following distribution:

  1. ª Winning Couple: 48 points 11º Classified: 24 points
  2. Ranked 1st: 44 points Ranked 12th: 22 points
  3. ª Ranked: 40 points 13th Ranked: 20 points
  4. º Ranked th: 38 points Ranked 14th: 18 points
  5. º Ranked: 36 points 15th Ranked: 16 points
  6. º Ranked: 34 points 16th Ranked: 14 points
  7. º Ranked: 32 points 17th Ranked: 12 points
  8. º Ranked: 30 points 18th Ranked: 10 points
  9. º Ranked: 28 points 19th Ranked: 8 points
  10. º Ranked: 26 points 20th Ranked: 6 points

The 1st, 3rd and 5th TEST WILL HAVE A 20% SCORE BONUS (ROUNDED UP).

In the event of a tie in each test, the points corresponding to the tied positions will be added and distributed equally and rounded up between the pairs tied for said positions.

The Players who take part in the 5 tests will receive an additional BONUS to their Final classification of 10 POINTS.

The General Classification will come from a general classification per Day (NEW2019) and will be individual, counting the 3 best scores of the 5 possible, NOT BEING ABLE TO COMPUTE MORE THAN 2 BONUS EVENTS, in case of a tie this will be resolved by adding the 4th score , 5th score, if the tie persists, it will be resolved by best score, 2nd best score and 3rd best score, if the tie persists, it will be resolved in favor of the lowest exact handicap.

OUTPUT BARS: Determined by the committee for each test.

DEPARTURE TIMES: Each session is independent and will be published at 11:00 on the day before each session.

AWARDS: The Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 24, coinciding with the End of Season Trophy Awards Ceremony.

TIEBREAKERS: They will be resolved according to the provisions of the RFEG Green Book

REGISTRATION/CLOSING DEADLINE:
Each day is independent of the others, and couples must register for each of the days independently.

The registration fee will be €20 for Bonalba subscribers, €32 for Friends Card holders and €40 for Visitors. The registration list for each of the tests will be open in the Caddy Master/Store office and will close on the Friday before each of them..

The tee times will be in order of handicap and will be available on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.
